    I would have his thyroid checked. I’ve had two cats that act like that. One went blind because he had hyperthyroid and it caused him to have high blood pressure and he went blind. He was orange too.

    Eat at the table when your cat is in another room, or feed your cat before you eat.

    I can eat around my cat and she knows better than to do what this cat is doing. I gave her a stern NO! and she doesn’t try anything like this. Now with my husband it’s a different story. Oh yeah forgot to mention when I say, “Sassy, NO!” she will sass me and move. lol
