No need to worry about a power outage. Make sure the alarm is juiced daily with hugs and, of course, bacon for breakfast.

I sleep with two pets. My dog, Beau sleeps on my left. My cat, Mama, on my right. Mama is about as close as she can press herself to my body. In the morning, they participate in a wake up together. Dog on my left chest, mama cat on my right chest. Sometimes mama will perform speed trials across my body, back and forth until I finally get up. I had a cat, now gone, that would take the sheet covering my head in his teeth and back up until I was totally uncovered. Nobody gets to sleep around here.

They love their owner a lot! They are probably hungry or want to play. Then they can go back to sleep after.
