Our dogMaggi loved the snow when we lived in Alaska. She would bite ate the snow shoveled in the air. She would dig a hole in the snow, bury her ball then dig it out again. Her dog buddy would play tag and chase each other and then get on a snow bank and play king of the hill taking turns. They loved it

Love seeing the ones that slide on the ice. Just hope none of them were hurt.

That was my concern. The snow adventures are very funny. The ice adventures are dangerous, especially when the dog’s legs are sliding out sideways from under him/her. I load up on pet-safe ice melter and refuse to risk injury to my five dogs, especially on the back deck and stairs down to the lawn. Until there is an IQ test administered to qualify for pet ownership, we will continue to see idiots amusing themselves by risking injury to their pets.

You are so right. I even take some of the snow stuff as dangerous. Shooting snow at your dog from a snow blower? One might blind a dog by doing that. Sigh. That IQ test is never to be. Well, that’s enough of a rant from me. I’m so glad your 5 dogs found you for their dearest human.

They are enjoying the snow. I think this winter will be a very cold and snowy winter.
