Not a good idea! One day the dog is going to slip going up the ladder and fall back down the steps and could get a broken leg or worse.

The dog is enjoying and having fun! Lol. Great that it is near water, because metal sliding boards can get scorching hot from the sun. When I was very young I got on a hot scorching metal sliding board and quickly jumped off the side of it when I got half way down. Lol
