Did Baby Boomers Have More Fun Growing Up?
Some think nostalgia for the 1950s and 1960s is overrated. And most generations feel like they were lucky to have grown up in the era they did. But, I would argue that Baby Boomers may have been the luckiest of them all. So let’s take a look back at why baby boomers were able to have more fun, then any other generation.

That playground equipment was just what I got to play on. Notice it was all set in concrete. Lots of skinned knees. The best time was winter … recess in the snow. Sometimes we got to stay out for half an hour. We played mumbly-peg with our knives, along with marbles, pitching pennies, and jacks. There was dodge ball, too. One other thing. We all looked nicer and were better behaved. No one would even consider talking back to one of their parents, let alone cursing them. Walter Cronkite was moved to tears when the astronauts stepped on the moon. So were my wife and I, at two in the morning.
