I am so glad you came to no harm !!!….there are a few bunny brained people out there (my apoligies to the rabbit population ) who do not take the time to secure loads properly …. as for mattress surfing with all this wild windy weather we keep getting it could become a possibility not just something one crashes on after a hard days what ever!!!!
