Enlisted 1963 while in High School, went on active in ’64, served thru ’66. Trained as a combat photographer in ‘nam with the SEALs at NAS Glenview, NAS Great Lakes(firefighting), Univ. of Maryland(Navy scholarship) then to NAS Pensecola for motion picture instruction then joined SEALs. Worked at M-G-M in the early 70s as an assistant film editor before being laid off in 1973 recession. Never returned to films, now retired.
I had some friends out that way during that time period- maybe a few yrs later, but they mentioned meth. They called it “crank”. I guess you made the right decision not to go back. So, what came next? ( BTW, I feel I hijacked this post–sorry)
Thank you for the info, sir. Nice to know. And, indeed, this is a cute video. Just like it says at the end…silly stuff. We all need some silly in our life.

Became addicted to drugs-meth. Felt afraid of returning and becoming an addict again. Laid off in ’73 from M-G-M but still love movies.
