‘Dancing On The Ceiling’ – An Old School Mash Up
Because of the positive response my previous videos have had, here’s my latest ‘dancing video’. This will probably be the last one I make of these, so it’s a little longer (over 7 minutes), and I’ve tried to include as many people as possible (some by request). Some weren’t possible, simply because they didn’t suit the edit.
As always keep the comments below respectful & on topic, otherwise they will just be removed and you may be blocked.

I’m 78, 79 in September and a male. My Mum absolutely loved Musical Movies. I was lucky to go along with her. This gave my older sisters a break from looking after me. Thus I was lucky enough today to name at least 85% of the dancers and about 50% of the movie names. When mum was in a retirement home I hired musicals and we sat and watched them together. Thank you so much for all the great memories.

Tony,
I admire and appreciate what goes into an edit like this. Back in the 80s, I went to production school and we had a project like this. Although with limited raw footage and working on 3/4″ tape it was a daunting task, even for a 2 minute piece. We did the Curley Shuffle using 3 Stooges footage.. It was fun to do but doesn’t hold a candle to your work. I can’t imagine the time and research this 7 minute production took you to complete. This would have been almost impossible in he 80s, or taken months to compile.
Bravo!

What a pleasure to review the dancing acts of the past!
I’m sending it to my daughter also.
Thank you for saving the wonderful joyful antics of so many
of our favorite actors who brought joy to our hearts and smiles to our lips.

I’m 85 years young and by way of babysitting my mother would give me 27 cents! Twelve cents to get into the movies and 15 cents for candy. I saw most of those movies and loved the spectacle, color and dancing. You did a super FANTASTIC job of editing and I enjoyed every minute and will save to view again. Thank you so much!

Fabulous compilation, and a great effort putting it together, thank you. It took over 60 years and my wife dragging me screaming to Rock n Roll dance lessons to learn how good song and dance is for the soul, wish I had learnt much earlier.

It is just criminal that we do not exhibit gifted talent as this ant more. It is so very missed.
