I might be able to cross country with these kind of “skis” … sure would take strong leg muscles. Wonder if one’s toes are the brakes?

Oh it looks like so much fun-wonder how many broken arms or legs they got. Bet the kids would love doing this now.

Speaking of ‘brakes’ How do you stop? Rolling downhill stopping must be ‘seat of your pants’.

I would love for them to bring that back now. I’m 64 years young, and I’m very adventurous. I go jet skiing, swimming, dancing, working on a hot air balloon ride in the next few months, horse back riding, bicycling, ice skating (but had to stop that because I tore a ligament in the cartlidge of my left knee after being hit by a truck)…once the doctor gives me clearance, I’ll be doing my thing again. I want to try what these guys did back then, it looks like fun, but I would want to do it with the poles. I’m adventurous but not crazy. My son was trying to teach me skate boarding, that was a flop, nor, can I ride a bike with the brakes on the handle bars. But I do well with many other activities, so I’m satisfied. Oh please someone please bring back a patent on this. I would but don’t know how to go about it.

It looks more like they are skiing, what with the poles. I’m not sure it was made very popular, but it looks like it might be fun!

Wonder who holds the patent on those now?
Could be a new fad for next year.
