In addition, the pup is a Dachshund and when full grown will only be a few inches taller than he is right now. I think it’s great that he is so protective of the young lady.

This little fellow was just being protective not aggressive. If he had of been aggressive, he would have been growling and would have attempted to bite, a big difference. At least they know that if the girl was in danger that little fellow would do his best to protect her. Well done little guy. You might be small but your courage outweighs that. Thank you for showing us that size does not matter.

Why encourage the puppy, soon to be an adult dog, to chase a person who the dog will never fully trust again? Rewarding a dog for unnecessary aggression, will reman part of the dog’s mind. People ask why some dogs are therapy dogs and service dogs and others aren’t. One of the reasons is that what we witness on the video, is not a joke, like encouraging a puppy to growl at someone, or fight with someone for the possession of a toy. Kindness and joy always ,along with positive reenforcement , will ensure an appropriate behaving life long companion..

GET OFF!!! A dog is there to serve its owner in whatever capacity the owner needs, and if it is protection, then so be it!

This is too funny how the puppy is running and charging at him, ears flapping up and down. Lol! A very good and smart dog! This is too funny.
