Heehee! Couldn’t help but think of this pic, today when I read my quote from my fortune cookie:
“Be careful! Straight trees often have crooked roots.”
These trees tell us right up front, no digging for crooked roots! Wish all people were as easy to read! Lol

I put in ‘crooked trees’ on Yahoo! & came up with The “crooked forest” of Gryfino Poland. In fact, it shows this exact picture! It has an interesting story how they came to be that way.

Oh, Joy, I wasn’t truly being nosey. I was just saying I thought it was funny you said something about the wind, and wondered if you were from TX or OK. Which is where I’m from. They are intriguing(sp) aren’t they?! =)

I was joking about the wind, but if you must know, bmxmom90, I lived in Canada as a child, then MT & OR but now live in KY for the past 19 yrs. I believe these trees are in a foreign country. I may get on the internet to find out where.

Geez, I am sooo curious about these trees! They Are truly unique, I couldn’t agree more. Where I’m from in the US, our trees grow leaning mostly n/ne from the wind, but I don’t know of any wind that stays at your feet! lol
(I do wonder where Joy is from though, from here ‘wind’ comment! =D)
