Corn looks good but everywhere as far as you can see where he is standing looks dry. Is this a sign of the dry seasons to come??? (La Nino)

I’m thinking some kind of irrigation ditch … or a natural spring. The field looks quite happy and healthy.

Good comments posters. All interesting, but my immediate thought was EARTHQUAKE!!!! Or possibly an after shock of an earthquake. Then a thought hit me, everything seems to be growing beautifully, maybe it was planned this way. Hard to say.

Looks like a fault-line, in earthquake country. Many faults open up like that, and some of them close back up. The power of the earth is pretty awesome. Sinkholes can be really destructive, too, like the one that ate a house and car, in San Francisco, I think.

I don’t know where it’s at, but it looks like the beginning of a ‘sinkhole’.
