I wonder if the bear cub realized his growling did not save him, it was momma bear growling that scared away the cougar. Hopefully baby never roamed so far fto..momma again..

Was so happy when I saw Mother Bear, she heard her baby crying out and went to rescue it. I agree with Rosemary, it was a Blessing when she came on the scene. The big cat was no match for the Mother. Thanks for sharing.

I knew that Mama bear was near and when she heard her cub in trouble she came to the rescue!
