This is simply scary! but we should be careful of the excitement we seems to derive from this pix. This isnt our culture and most of these snakes has been charmed not to harm these children, why should we just feel we could just begin to get excited at getting a cobra like what Jean said all of a sudden. consider the consequences on the children!

Thats cool how the kids wont be scared. Im going to india next year for spring break instead of going to the beach with my friends. My grandma owns these homes there and helping hands to help familys get clothes and food u no how cool it would be to see a corba and to here this little kids talk about there encounter with a snake. I mean im scared of them but it would be so cool to she one and not get bitten but then agian my aunt her mom was killed by a cobra in india and then my grandparents adopted her. BUt think here in america kids have toys and tv and all that so wen a snake or a spider or anything like that comes around we run for our lives unless u have those kids who like that type of stuff I give the kids a 13 fir that for not beinging scared

Skopos, are you blind? What are the kids looking at then? That’s india, not wherever it is you live.

This picture has been “doctored”. See how the cobra is not even
    facing the children??

WOW!!!and the kids in this country of ours get scared with every thing that moves…..look at this children because they never knew any other way to have fun and no toys to play with, they get amused and mingled with a dangerous living creature…The children in this country of ours has way to many toys..look at this children how happy they are…by just watching with anticipations and excitement for the cobra to make a move….This is very sad and scary..nothing is funny here and should not be laughed about..I myself is scared of any crawling thing mostly snakes and its kind.,but look how brave this children’s are!!!!…Lets look at this as an example of how we raised our children…At the end of the day, these kids will brag about this encounter to their parents not knowing that they faced danger at that moment in time…..This makes me cry and not laugh…..Lets teach our children how to enjoy simple life..that joy comes from within the family and not from material things..Love and be Love…take care of one another and respect one another…play outside with nature and not be coup up in the house watching television…be active in any given time of year!!!

Do not understand why this is supposed to be funny. This is a way of life for many of the children in India. They learn to be one with nature.
I think it is an awesome practice, not one to be laughed at. Children learn to co-habit and handle these creatures with the respect they so deserve.
