My husband likes to watch a show (I can’t remember the name of show) That shows roads like this and how people drive on them. It is scary just to watch. I would never want to be there. Sometimes when they have to pass someone else they are very close to the mountain or right on the edge that some rocks roll down under the weight of the tires.
Oh, my! Notice the landscape below? How did this road ever became constructed is a miracle. How many casualties? Does it snow there?
Is it a one way OR how do they pass one another? HELP!!!
All I can say is I enjoy seeing the picture, but wouldn’t want to be on that road. I can enjoy this from a distance, like whatever country this is, and from my computer. I wonder who and where they took the photograph, I mean there has to be more to this road than what we’re seeing. Courageous photographer. Courageous architect. Dumb tourists driving there.
Ladies – I think this is either in India or South America. If you ever get a chance to watch NATGEO – they have a 30″ program on the most dangerous road in the world. And I can attest that you’ll be sitting there with white knuckles as you watch the program. BUT most of the drivers are NOT locals, they’re from all over the world. AND the only word that comes to mind is “CRAZY”.
Me either, Shirley! Gotta be really brave or just plain crazy to drive on that road. Don’t know which! All I’d be thinking is,”please no landslides – please no landslides”.

How would you like to have been the ones who cut this road out of the side of that rock?
