To M D Norell: I’m dubious that the parents explained that this was a joke. The child is much too young to understand a joke from reality.

A good point you made and I agree with you. After awhile, he should show her that he did not eat the centipede. Her reaction was in amazement. I do this to my niece and nephews, and they have that same reaction. After awhile, I showed them how to do one of my famous card tricks.

The little ones reaction is priceless but I actually agree with you Lola. I have seen children put things in their mouths that you wouldn’t believe. Things that could have been harmful and even deadly because they watched someone else do it or simply because little ones don’t understand they danger.

Although as cute and funny as this video is, did it ever occur to the parents that this child may try swallowing the centipede when they weren’t looking? Children are very innocent and watch what their parents do and sometimes follow the example. I pray that this child doesn’t try this trick. It would be a disaster!!!!!
