A look back at Kodachrome photography of Hollywood celebrities from the 1950s.
While forms of color photography had been around since the 1860s, the Eastman Kodak Company made it accessible to all with its Kodachrome film in 1935.
Kodachrome has captured some of the most famous events in history:
-The Hindenburg explosion in 1936
-Edmund Hillary reaching the summit of Mt. Everest in 1953
-President Kennedy’s assassination filmed by Abraham Zapruder in 1963
