My nephew has a cat that began playing with ball of string. He began to swallow it and by the time they realized what he had done, half of the ball was in his stomach. They wound up paying for surgery so those who think that nothing bad can come of an innocent game should be very careful.

I wouldn’t let my cat play with a rubber band. Like the one stretching it out there is a good chance of the rubber band putting an eye out, or the cat choking on it or other problems. Love the video but would love to have seen them playing with something other than the rubber bands.

Sorry, but I agree with Joyce. I had a friend whose cat somehow got it wrapped around its tongue. To the vet it went. Everything turned out fine, but don’t take a chance of letting your fubaby play with rubber bands. Dangerous.

Sorry don’t care for this video – I would never let my cats play with a rubber band. There’s a chance they could swallow it and it would get all tangled up inside them.
