I agree with almost all the posts so far. That’s a really mean thing to do to ANY animal. Whomever took the picture should have put down the camera and rescued the kitty. Shame on you!
Yeah, I know it looks mean to hold the cat this way, but I have two now grown sons. When they were small they would to things like this to our cats. I would make them stop, but wouldn’t you know it, the cats would come to them and love on them. I don’t understand it, But they seemed to adore each other.
Don’t like this picture, 🙁 This is no way to treat any animal, this poor cat is in no doubt horrified,I think the parents should be held on animal abuse charges.I would have like to send this picture to my cat lovers, however I decided not to.. Shame on you parents..
…I’ve seen this happen couple times…the ‘crime’ here is not so much how the cat is being held-but why being held like that long enough to take that picture…dreadful…
My heart goes out to the cat. The S.P.C.A. should pick up this fur baby and fine the adults in this household as now the poor
little thing is up for some continued poor treatment.
You would let a child do this and then blame the cat for anything that happens.
This is a vile photo. Parents are supposed to be role models.
What is this young child learning…how to be cruel to animals?
Not the least bit funny…shame on you…..
Sorry, don’t like it. Sure the child innocently picked the
cat up that way. However, the adult purposely had the
child keep that pose so pictures could be taken, etc.
Again, humans seeking attention at the expense of
an animal.
