my brother had that type of system after going to the grocery store and he had more than a handful- when he lived on the 5th floor with no elevator (which I absolutely hated when I visited him, but eh whatcha gonna do?) he’s roommates would drop the basket (with rope not string) he’d load the groceries and then they’d pull it back up..saves a lot of time and energy!
Man that shows confidence!! Both for the owner and the cat. I would be in a wreck thinking the cat would jump out half way up. Or that the rope would break. Or that the basket would tip and the cat fall out. I could go on and on…..
