Breathtaking Footage of Half a Billion Butterflies
Up to half a billion monarch butterflies lie sleeping having overwintered in Mexico. As winter ends and spring arrives, the sun warms their wings and the forest comes to life as a cascade of butterflies take flight! Robot Spy Hummingbird is right there in the heart of the spectacle. Living in College Station, Texas we are fortunate to enjoy the visits of both the Monarchs and the hummingbirds. It is popular for school children here to prepare for visits from both

What a wonderful sight, and to think God made these creatures not only beautiful to look at, but by instinct smart enough to know where and when to fly south or north! I also wonder how the video was made, but that doesn’t detract from the wonder of it.

When was this video taken? The monarchs are almost zero in the recent California count this past winter.

Amazing shots, but they are clearly not made by the hummingbird camera, but through a conventional camera.
It is sad, they don’t mention that honestly.

I was thinking they must have two or three drone cameras. Still pretty to watch.
