Blue Moon of Kentucky – Carson Peters
10-year old Carson Peters performs Blue Moon of Kentucky with Ricky Skaggs at the Opry. For his age, he sure can sing and play a fiddle. What did you think of Carson’s performance? Please let us know in the comment section below and remember to share the video and sign up for our free newsletter!

You are one fantastic and talented young man. I’m sure that your parents are very proud of you. It was a pleasure to se and listen to your performance. I’m a bit younger than my fellow veteran Lee Paul (above comments) but I did serve in the Korean War in 1950 when I was seventeen. I met another fellow from Jonesboro, Tennessee. We used to harmonize singing the old songs (San Antonio Rose, Missouri Waltz, Home in Indiana, etc. Even thjough I was a New York Yankee we became friends for many years until he passed away. I would say that Tennessee produces some great people!
God bless you and keep up with the music!

Young man, you have a real talent. Thought you had a style similar to Patsy Cline. Course, that’s all gonna change in a few years, when your voice changes, but keep goin. You’re great! And you play a mean fiddle too!!

Wow Carson! What a great performance. I too am a musician but I’m now retired. Seen a lot, heard a lot… but you have the making of a true blue entertainer – musician and singer to boot!!! Don’t see too many talented musical people these days unfortunately :~( Please keep that bow close to them “strangs” and that magical voice rested; you’ll need it all for the long journey that’s ahead of you. Wishing you much success in life. And your backup band were no slouches either ;o)
Your new fan,
