I noticed a little one stopped and the larger one stopped on a dime.

Wowzie!! Several thoughts came to mind. First, I’m once again grateful to 26th president and naturalist Teddy Roosevelt for helping keep the buffao from going extinct. Second, I’m thinking this may be an annual herd relocation, and hope those travelers realized they were witnessing an awesome occasion. On the other hand, and third, their stampeding may be a response to the fact I believe our national parks have been shut down, and in many areas wildlife is reclaiming territory, aka When peoples aren’t home, buffalo will roam. Fourth and finally : I hope they do!!

Scary! The little ones were struggling to keep up the pace. Does this happen often?
