Bear Walking on Two Legs Strolls Through Neighborhood
You have GOT to see this bear! “Pedals” the bipedal bear, who has become a social media darling, was recently spotted on the Old Woodland trail near the golf course in Oak Ridge, N.J. How would you like to turn the corner and come face to face with this guy?

Denise, I agree with you. They should treat this neighbor with caution and kindness. I hate trophy hunters. How can someone be proud of killing defenseless creatures. Some one must be feeding him regularly as he doesn’t appear to be looking for food and he really does seem to walk like a man. Either way he probably is protected as much as his neighbors can help.

I also noticed that the bear was favouring his front right paw. Maybe walking up-right was more comfortable, Or……………may he thought he’d be less noticeable up-right than walking like a bear on all fours!!! Whatever, so glad the neighbourhood cherishes him. Please don’t let those dratted Trophy Hunters get near him…..

He doesn’t bother the neighbors & they don’t bother him. They’ve gotten use to him wandering there & don’t mind. They enjoy watching him. This was on the news. 🙂

Amazing how bears can walk like that. I noticed that about the bear right paw. Guess that’s why the bear is walking up right like that. Looks the the camera person was about to walk right into the bear, a little too close.
