This could be in Alaska or British Columbia. It is a brown bear & they aren’t shy. Anywhere he smells food. Ok, I smell it, so where is the darn food?!?
I’m not as taken with the bear on the sidewalk as I am with the
“crazy” person who took the picture. Judging by the placement of
the building, etc., in the picture, that person is reasonably close
to that bear. Hope he is familiar with the bear and this picture
was a “gag”.

No shadow of a person in the picture, so they were hiding or a telephoto lens.
