Someone should try and baptise him with water or that the commander use him as stepping stone and let see if he will revive himself (weak man). He needs thourough medical examination to confirm if he is feet for the assignment.
sort of reminds me of when my brother left for the Air Force Academy in 1964–he went out drinking with his buddies the night before and he had one h–l of a hangover when he got on that plane! lol!

I have seen this happen a lot on military parades, it may be that he fainted from standing too long. I agree with John Gold

If you lock your legs while standing at attention for a prolonged period, many people have passed out. Not such an uncommon sight in the military.
