Funny joke, but he kinda blew the punch line with his poor comedic timing. Fellow above is right. “The bar tender asked him, Then why are you just ordering two pints.” Then he needs to have a “pregnant pause” to capture the audience’s interest before giving the punch line. “Well you see I’ve decided to give up drinking for Lent.” Sorry to be a critic, but as Mel Brooks says most of comedy is about timing.
