An Inspiring Hand Ballet by Performers in Wheelchairs
As part of the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games closing handoff event, French choreographer Sadeck Waff developed a hand ballet that was performed by both professional and amateur wheelchair performers. Exquisite precision and collaboration! Must have taken lots of rehearsals. The black outfits and bare arms gave a dramatic look to the choreography. That “2024” at the end was a great finale.
