Frankly, I loved it, for all the negative comments, I am so sorry they can’t see the good. Very entertaining and well done. Glad I could see it again. Probably will watch it again several times, because I liked it.

Trust me, I’ve done enough magic to know there is a trick to it. Or a series of them. The last one would be the hardest, but he picked where to start moving the book, so could have set that up too, especially if all the pages were identical. I’m going to guess, when he mixed up the crayons, all that came to the top were red. When he put the rubiks cube in the box, it went into another slightly larger one that had his preset combo. The easiest would be using slight of hand to get the card he wanted on the top.

How sad that some people miss all the joy that is represented by Marc Spellmann’s magic act on BGT. The show is obviously recorded, in front of a live audience but believing that it was just camera trickery going back over 2 years is a bit far fetched. I do not know how he did the presentation but I don’t think that it could have been achieved by recording multiple shots, particularly of the toy, in such a short period of time, when the possibilities of a specific result are so random. He also had a back story about his sick child. If only these naysayers and detractors could just enjoy the backstory and the performance, rather than demeaning it by having such a miserable outlook. Performances like this one are supposed to be interesting, enlightening and uplifting for the presenter and the audience. Time to get on board with the act… or get off, leaving others to enjoy the entertainment that Mr Spellmann provides to his audience.

Thought I’d never get to the end of the responses. I too don’t care how he does it – it was magic and brought a tear to my eye, thanks Jim
