I can relate to this one except that I had my tonsils removed back in 1951 when I was 9 years old. I had to remain in the hospital over night for observation AND, I remember eating ice cream for several days! The Dr. put both tonsils in an old Horlicks bottle with formaldahyde as a “souvenir”……! They looked like little peanuts!
