That was a great time, and the music was so good…It had beautiful melodies, much rhythm and I enjoyed dancing to it. Music today is not like that…I’ll bet if we brought some of the 1940s and 1950s music back we would find our young people dancing all over the place. We need to provide places for them to get together and dance to music like this. When I was in high school, we had a Teen Age Canteen…called the TAC. That’s where we spent so much time getting to together in a clean environment. It was chaperoned, and I can’t think of anything unpleasant ever happening there. Everyone was very compatible. There was no charge for the teenagers to go there and dance. It was just a big room with recorded music and chairs and tables…The attraction was our friends and just being together. I believe they had drink and nab/candy machines…Not much upkeep required!

Great music and everyone having good clean times! Garbage that is passing for dancing and singing today, forget trying to understand the words – well, what can I say??
