Wrestling a Grizzly Bear in My Garden
Doug Seus is a 71-year-old bear trainer from Utah that trains bears for Hollywood movies. He also runs his own animal charity Vital Ground that enhance and protects nearly 600,000 acres of crucial wildlife habitat. Watch this incredible video of him playing and interacting with Bart 2, a giant 8 foot 6 inches grizzly bear. It surely is not for the faint of heart.

This is incredible to watch. The bears are very gentle with him. However, their sheer size and strength could easily cause him harm, even though they wouldn’t be trying to do that! I truly respect the work he has done with them, but he’s braver than me. No Grizzly wrestling for me, thank you! Lol!

I have always wanted a bear and a male lion with the mane. They are beautiful animals. I would love to meet this bear. It’s such a beautiful bear and I can see and feel it’s gentleness with it’s trainer.

lin, I agree with you. A good 3 miles distance away is close enough. Lol. I think this guy raised these bears when they were infants. The bears trust him and care for him. To me they act like dogs, because they seem to know how to be gentle with the teeth and claws when playing. This is amazing how well trained these bears are, but still it is very dangerous what he is doing.

I agree with you mary, and a grizzly bear is one huge animal. 1,300 lbs is a lot of weight. They are smarter than I thought. They are like huge dogs. It is a good relationship that he has with grizzly bears. This guy GOTS to be Crazy, to put his head inside the bear’s mouth… He is teaching the bear how to eat humans. Keep this guy and the bears in our prayers.

Now I understand just how big a ‘grizzly’ really is..a majestic animal…..and all credit to the man who befriends them…I would love to know his secret……
