Why is that people cannot accept other races and creeds in the country without ridicule. This is a form of abuse and should stop. Where is their consciences. Come on, this is the modern day where kindness is supposed to be the outstanding rule of life. Where I live I see a lot of poor (beggars,) alcoholics and the obnoxious. Most times in these cases my personality takes over and I treat them like humans and often try to help out even though I am poor myself. The reason I am like that is I am a product of abusive marriages and cannot do that to others. Life is too short and beautiful just to waste time being an idiot. At least I’m trying to better my life by being a writer and going to University for my BA in English. Why? I’m 76 years old and absolutely will not sit home and feel sorry for myself. There are a lot of illnesses within this old bod of mine but I will not let any of it defeat my will to live. I plan to live to be 100 and be a friend (true friend that is) to as many as possible. When you see the light of joy in someones eyes it gives you a real blast, try it sometime. Smile at all times and give a helping hand if you can.

Its so hard being a “Human” being these days its a challenge to watch your P’s and Qu’s when other people don’t show you the same courtesy!!!!!
