Yes, it is such a shame about those claws because sloths are renowned for their adoration of whatever they’ve chosen for a friend. It would be hard to find anything else in the animal world as loving as these unusual, but adorable creatures. I spend hours on Youtube watching them. Have a look and esp. a LISTEN to them; they make human like sounds. There’s no doubting the absolute love this one feels for his/her cat, but as I said, it IS a “dangerous love” and it’s a rotten shame 🙁

Those claws are huge and looks like Wolverine claws. My first time seeing a sloth. What is a sloth? I will have to look this one up. A new specie

I’m with the other commenters – I am worried about the cat losing an eye from the sharp claws of the sloth!

I don’t think Sloths are meant to be pets!

I had the same thoughts about the cat’s eye. Those are some pretty impressive claws. I actually had never seen a sloth before. Wish I could have gotten a little better view of it. It amazes me how some of these animals become friends. Seems they are more humane than humans are.

I’d be afraid the cat would come up loosing an eye.

My thoughts exactly!!! It’s sweet and all, but having an eye poked out would be just awful! We have had two of our cats over the years w/o eyes and it is so sad to see what they go through! Please rethink this!!! It wouldn’t be on purpose mind you, because it’s obvious the Sloth loves the cat and all, but you really don’t want this to happen, truly!
