Instead of her asking where’s daddy, she should have been telling her daddy shaved his beard. 24 years ago, my daughter did the same thing because she got used to seeing me with my hair pulled up in a ponytail and glasses on. And it was one I washed my hair came out of the bathroom without my glasses on and my hair up in a towel, she started screaming and crying until I put my glasses back on and Grandma and I finally convinced her that it was me. It was the first time she had ever seen me like that, because the other times I washed my hair was while she was napping.
