Ohio Amish Barn Raising
Photographer Penny Miller captures 1,600 pictures over a 10-hour period in Ohio to see what a true Amish barn raising looks like with this timelapse. Over the course of a day, the Amish community comes together with a plan to build a barn and do it.

Truly an amazing feat. Would be nice if everyone worked together so well. Like to think there was no dissension even though the fiddle masked any trace of discord.

Wow, this is very impressive teamwork. Sometimes I wish my job was like this, but I cannot complain just be thankful for the job. I heard Amish people are the hardest working people and have the best communities. This is a great video that proves it!

That was fun to watch. My brother was a builder who thoroughly enjoyed his work . Watching this in time lapse really made it interesting.

Because Jeff, they are too busy with that “Me First” attitude, and also with the “My way or the highway” attitude. Then there are those that think they’re better than others and I don’t think I need to go on with this.
