There is nothing wrong with a parent teaching their child, boy or girl how to box, wrestle, martial arts or any other means of self-defense. In this situation her father is doing very good by her in starting her out young. She will be easier to teach as evident in the video. The only thing that I caution the father in is to be sure he teaches her emotional discipline that goes with her skill so that she does not abuse her abilities. Who knows we may see her in the Olympics some day as a Female boxer or in Women’s Professional Boxing Arena. In any case, good luck young lady and Dad keep her on the right road.

I believe it a good think the father and child connect with one another. Hopeful the fathers help teach displine, For the child to learn the “Rights & Wrongs”, and Not to back down to any and all Challenges in life. As this world is NOT getting any easier. And learning to defend herself is a very important fact of LIFE especial for Girls. Go Dad, Go & Daughter.

Larry, I just read your post and we had similiar thoughts about the discipline with her boxing skills. I also told the Dad the same thing. I’m glad there are people like you out there that think positive when it comes to learning self defense and not think it is for bullying people. Kudos Larry.

It was like their movements were with the music. Maybe it’s a new dance move (LOL)!!

No, seriously, I think it is great that he is teaching her, so she can protect herself in the future!!

I think this would be good for all kids to learn. Along with that, the right time and place to use it. Think of all the dead and missing children and if they’d had this it might have helped them to get away. I’d be all for my g.kids learning this now in case.

Awesome..she is really good..Hopefully she will never have to defend herself ,but could if needed..She could qualify for the Olympics, with her style she reminds me of Sugar Ray Leonard.

Am I the only one seeing so much CGI in this clip?

The girl looks almost real, her ‘dad’ looks almost total CGI, as well as the background.

I must admit to being a bit drunk, but is everyone else so blind?

Congrats to the ‘compiler’ of this clip for the CGI.

Definitely a good thing. Especially with girls. That would be the exclamation point to NO means NO!! Teach boys also to even the odds with bullies. All should have classes in self-respect and the respect of others along with something that has been lost for a few generations now-Personal Responsibility.
