I remember a time when I was little and my older half sister gave me a tsp.full of horse-radish telling me it was butter ice cream. Believing and trusting her I ate it and swallowed it whole before I could spit it out. From that day forward I never ate horse-radish and I never did anything like this to any child. I think it was a bit on the abusive side.
