my daughter was beat and left for dead in a ditch. Had she had a gun this would not have ended this way. I have a gun for protection, and would not hesitate to use it to save family and myself. The criminals get away with as much as their monies will get them. The poor or screwed.
I RAISED 3 CHILDREN TAKING “NORMAL” PRECAUTIONS WITH ALL MY WEAPONS. ALL OF WHICH WERE KEPT LOADED AND MY CHILDREN KNEW IT.THERE WAS NEVER ANY ACCIDENTAL SHOOTING.ANY FRIEND THEY BROUGHT TO THE HOUSE WAS ALSO TOLD THAT TO POINT ANY WEAPON WAS TO BE READY TO KILL WITH IT. AN UNLOADED GUN IS A LOUSY CLUB AND THE SOURCE OF “ACCIDENTAL” SHOOTINGS. THE SAFEST WAY TO TREAT A GUN IS LIKE IT’S LOADED. IT DOES MAKE ONE AWARE OF THE FACT THAT YOU HAVE TO TREAT ANY WEAPON WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT’S CARE AND USE. ANY WEAPON IS ONLY AS DANGEROUS AS THE FOOL HOLDING IT. PEOPLE WERE KILLING PEOPLE LONG BEFORE GUNS EXITED…GUNS ARE SIMPLY THE BETTER TOOL FOR THE JOB. BTW LOOK CAREFULLY AT THE PICTURE…. IT’S FROM SOMEWHERE IN SOUTHEAST ASIA AND MAY BE A VIETNAM ERA PHOTO….SUCH SIGHTS WEREN’T UNCOMMON IN THE AREA BACK THEN…..

This was a time before children took control of the world and the adults had no say in the matter. If you will notice, you will see that when children lost respect for their elders, that’s when everyone had to start locking doors and cars and everything else in sight.

You Know I grew up in Rural America (1943-2009) and I still see people ALL Over this Country with a Shotgun Leaning in the Corner of their House!

Home Invasions these days are out of Control and you Know What 85 % of those caught HAVE LOADED FIREARMS!
