Ruby…..why would you read it if you don’t like the details….I find it extremely sad but it is reality….a lot worse than this goes on everyday…..poor animal for sure but then maybe you think the gruesomeness of partial birth abortion on humans is ok

Liz, That is so sad but I am glad you were there to help the poor dog get out of his pain. Just think how long he would have suffered if you had not found him. Bless you for doing that.

Maybe a common thing where this was filmed? I was kinda thinking maybe the dog was sick or hurt at first. But since it did finally move, maybe not the case.

There was a cat I came across once. My mom, dad, and I were walking our dog. I saw this cat go half way across a street and just lay down right in the middle of the road. A car came along and honked their horn but the cat still didn’t move.

When I went to approach the cat…the cat finally ran off. My guess, is perhaps the cat wanted to cross…but saw our dog and was scared to go further (with good reason, our dog doesn’t like cats), so figured it’d wait in the middle of the road.

Cat was apparently healthy…dog might be too, just was comfy and didn’t want to move.

I was just finished with my college class and was heading home, when I saw what I thought was a cocker on the side of a VERY busy, 4 lane road, I thought it was lying there watching me, but knew in my heart that something was really wrong with this picture, so I pulled into a parking lot along side the road. What I discovered was a beautiful tan cocker, not looking at me or anyone else. It was a victim of a CRUEL hit and run driver, and both eyes were outside of its body. It was calm, and I called animal control or the police and they sent someone out to put it down. I felt so bad for that beautiful, sweet cocker, and held it in my lap as the man injected him. It was soooooo sad, and I hope there is some special place in hell, for the heartless person who just drove away after doing so very much damage to this sweet dog, and somebodie’s beloved pet, that must have gotten out and ran into traffic. I can’t remember now if it had a tag, but if it did, the officer who put it down would have kept the collar and license, and done the right thing. Providing it didn’t have brain damage, had the owner’s been nearby, the dog may have been able to be saved, but by finding it and not having a clue who owned it, he had to be put down. It totally ruined my evening, but I went home and hugged my pets especially long that evening.

Yeah Lola, It seems like he would have move on his own if something was not wrong. If a dog did like that close to where I live he/she would be ran over. Not by me of course (I love all animals) but people on this busy highway would not slow down and go around them. I am thankful no ran over this little fellow and I hope he found a nice safe home with people to love him.

Did it occur to anyone to call the police, SPCA, or animal control? This poor dog may have been lost, sick, hungry (and did you notice the other two dogs off to the left of your screen laying on the sidewalk?) They could have been abandoned, abused or whatever. This really tore at my heartstrings. Not one person would call an official to help these dogs. If I were there I would have stopped traffic and called the police, I can’t believe that no one in the cars even stopped. I know for a fact that if one of my dogs get loose, strangers stop open their car doors so I can catch up with the dog since I can’t walk fast. People are much kinder here with the animals. What a shame to see this video. Even the videographer instead of getting help was just video-taping. What is wrong with people today…sad video in my opinion.

Mary Bare: I was back in the hospital again on Thursday with a violent migraine headache and vomiting. Was in bed all day Friday, called the doctor, and have more pills to take. Slowly but surely I hope to be getting on the mend. I really can’t handle much more. Just when I think I’m doing better, I”m down again. Please keep this intention in your prayers.

        Many thanks
        Lola
