cats do weird things and go in tight places…. I’ve had cats almost all my life, but this picture gives me the sense that
this cat does not like the position he’s in. That jar is way too small for the body, even if it is half fur.

We had a very old refrigerator years ago and the kitten had disappeared…. at the back of the very old Fridge was an opening where the motor was and she was curled up around the motor…. It was warm and made noises when refreezing she probably adopted it as mother….. 🙂

Have had kitties for years and they always do things like that.
Jean is right, the cat will come out when and only when he or she is ready. They are VERY independant!!!

No, I don’t think a person put that kitty in there. They just do things like that. Why? I guess it just thier nature. I have seen my kitties many times go into small boxes or sacks and vases. Not to worry. The kitty will come out when it is ready to. LOL

…I would guess that someone had put a ‘treat’ in the jar, the cat went in to get it, than rather than backing out, tried to ‘turn around’ in the jar… some people can be so cruel to animals-thinking it’s a joke…

I don’t know cats that well. Did that cat really do that
to itself or did some human do it for the laugh?
